Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin was a full participant this week in practice. The Cowboys' No. 1 receiver has been battling a hamstring injury since the beginning of the season. In 2011, Austin missed time with a nagging hamstring, but has yet to miss a game this year.
The Cowboys are going to need Austin at full strength this Sunday when his team faces the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have one of the better teams in the league, so the Cowboys will have their hands full. It would be helpful if Austin was able to provide some of those "wow" plays in the passing attack in Week 6.
Fantasy Analysis: Austin is a high ceiling fantasy player, but consistency is typically an issue. There are a lot of balls to go around in Dallas, and sometimes it's the slot receiver that has the gaudy fantasy numbers. Dez Bryant's poor performance this season has not helped the one-two punch receiving tandem they have there in Dallas either.
But that makes Austin the go-to-guy in this passing game now. He is going to have to step up, and he's capable of doing that. The Cowboys offensive line is going to have to do a good job against that Ravens front and provide Tony Romo with time to get the ball to Austin. He should be depended upon by his team in Week 6, so he is a fantasy must-start.
