Daniel Thomas has been ruled inactive for Sunday's game between the Dolphins and the Rams. We break down the fantasy implications.

Daniel Thomas has been ruled inactive for Sunday's game between the Miami Dolphins and the St. Louis Rams. Thomas was held out of practice throughout the week after suffering a concussion in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Reggie Bush was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury, but practiced fully Friday. He is expected to take the lion's share of touches out of the backfield for the Dolphins, with rookie Lamar Miller serving as his backup.

Fantasy Impact: Thomas wasn't a big moocher, but now that he's out Bush should monopolize touches against a shaky Rams defensive front. Miller should see his touches his well, and his explosiveness could shine if he can find a crease. His limited involvement in the Dolphins offense makes him a risky fantasy start, however.

Thomas' prospects going forward appear to be shaky. He has had to fend off Miller since training camp, and his 3.1 yards per carry this season shouldn't impress anyone. If Thomas misses extended time, he could eventually lose his spot on the depth chart.
