Haloti Ngata injury: Ravens lose defensive lineman to knee injury

Baltimore now has two injured starters against the Cowboys.

Haloti Ngata has left the field in Baltimore, and is currently in the locker room with a sprained knee. There is no update on his status for the remainder of Sunday's game.

The Ravens have been struggling to stop the Dallas Cowboys' run game, as Felix Jones already has a touchdown, and the Cowboys' RBs are averaging just under 9 yards per carry. Should Ngata miss the remainder of the game it will further hurt an already struggling unit.

Baltimore's replacement is Bryan Hall, a 24-year-old rookie out of Arkansas State, who is yet to register a statistic this season. This is Hardly reassuring for a defense that leans on Ngata up front as much as they do Ray Lewis in the linebacking corps, or Ed Reed in the secondary.

This is the second injury the Ravens' defense has sustained today, after Ladarius Webb left Sunday's game earlier-- also with a sprained knee. Baltimore's offense is keeping the game close but, without Webb and now Ngata, they are a vulnerable team.
