The Patriots' No. 1 offense faces the Seahawks' No. 1 defense. Early in the game it's offense 1, defense 0. (Actually it's 7-3)
The marquee matchup in the Northwest this week is the New England offense against the Seattle defense. The Patriots are the top-scoring team in the NFL, while the Seahawks haven't allowed an offensive touchdown since Week 3. Well, that was true a few minutes ago before this 46-yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Wes Welker.
It was the second-longest play that Seattle has allowed this season. It might not be for long if the Seahawks continue to play like that.
