Shortly after Wes Welker went big for a 46-yard touchdown, the Seahawks answered back with their own little undrafted slot receiver.
Some of the time in today's game you're going to see the #1 Patriots offense against the #1 Seahawks defense. Other times, you're going to see the following.
Seattle allowed Wes Welker a 46-yard touchdown early in the first quarter and Welker is a former undrafted free agent who excels as a slot receiver. Doug Baldwin is a former undrafted free agent who is trying to be the next Wes Welker. Baldwin made a huge 50-yard catch on the next drive and then shortly thereafter made this impressive 24-yard touchdown catch from Russell Wilson while falling.
It makes you wonder, why do teams draft anyone?
