Tom Brady took a shot to the face against the Seahawks, and though the hit didn't appear illegal, he got a flag because he's Tom Brady, dang it.
Tom Brady doesn't like to get hit very much — who does, really? — and, after he took a shot to the facemask from a Seahawks defender, he went down hard and drew a flag from the referee, who threw a flag seemingly more out of courtesy or respect than any real, on-field influence.
Was it the worst flag you've ever seen? No, and by the letter of the law it probably was roughing the passer. Does anyone seem to get this call as much as Tom Brady? Don't kid yourselves, Pats fans.
