Vick Ballard didn't start off on the right foot for fantasy owners. We break down the fantasy implications.
Vick Ballard started for the injured Donald Brown (knee) and it didn't go well for the rookie with eight carries for 25 yards in the loss to the Jets. He added two catches for 17 yards.
Ballard had just 42 yards on 21 carries for a pathetic 2.0 YPC. He still hasn't scored this season.
Fantasy Impact: Not good. The Colts got shut down all over the field and the Colts never really got into a rhythm on offense. Indianapolis could only muster a 2.4 YPC on their 17 carries and the old Jets showed up to put the clamps on them.
Despite the ugly showing, Ballard should still be owned in all leagues. He is a flex play against the Browns next week.
