New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz found the end zone in Week 6. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz returned to Candlestick Park for the third time in 11 months to play the San Francisco 49ers. Cruz has been a difference-maker for this Giants offense and a go-to-guy for quarterback Eli Manning. Together, Manning and Cruz connected just enough times to put the 49ers away on Sunday.
Cruz had six grabs for 58 yards and a touchdown against the Niners. It was the only passing touchdown of the day by Manning.
Fantasy Analysis: Cruz has been a reliable week-to-week option in all fantasy football formats. He is targeted an awful lot by Manning, who is having a stellar season so far. Those targets translate into receptions, yards and touchdowns for Cruz. He is almost guaranteed to produce every week, and given what fantasy owners invested in him, he won't likely ever see the bench anyway.
When healthy and not on a bye week, Cruz is an absolute must-start, no matter the opponent or situation. Make sure to keep him in your starting lineup.
