Bills vs. Cardinals, Week 6: Arizona's late-game magic falls short in Week 6

The Arizona Cardinals have made it a habit of winning in the closing seconds of games the past few seasons. As the team welcomed in the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, Arizona was unable to capitalize in overtime and lost its second consecutive game. There are some concerns with this team, particularly on the offensive side of the ball.

SB Nation's Cardinals blog, Revenge of the Birds, reflected on the loss and grabbed a telling quote from head coach Ken Whisenhunt. If the Cardinals don't get back on track in a hurry, they could be facing a long losing skid in the desert.

"We have to make plays so we aren't living on the edge," said Whisenhunt. "It didn't go the way we wanted it to but we fought. we put it in position win it at the end; we just didn't execute it."

Can they recover from this game? The mental toughness they have shown over the past year makes us think so, but they have a tough four games coming up. If they don't, they could be looking at 4-6.

Revenge of the Birds was also concerned about numerous dropped passes and that the offensive line continues to struggle with assignments. The season is still young, but given the recent struggles and the upcoming slate of games, the Cardinals are going to find out what they're made of in the coming weeks.
