Brandon Lloyd managed to finish second in receiving on the Patriots in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.
The Patriots threw the ball 58 times against the Seahawks in Week 6, and Brandon Lloyd saw 12 of those passes come his way. Lloyd hauled in six catches for 80 yards, finishing only behind Wes Welker on the receiving list for the Patriots.
He still isn't finding the end zone. Lloyd has just one touchdown on the season with his new team.
Fantasy Impact: Those who believed Lloyd was going to imitate Randy Moss from several years ago appear to be mistaken. While Lloyd is getting plenty of looks from Tom Brady, he isn't quite dominating for any fantasy owners.
Lloyd is still worth a start every week. He might have a tough matchup next Sunday, though, with Antonio Cromartie likely lining up against him on the outside for the Jets.
