Larry Fitzgerald had six receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown for the Cardinals during Sunday's game against the Bills. Fitzgerald's big day came in spite of major problems at quarterback. Kevin Kolb passed for just 128 yards before leaving the game with a chest injury. John Skelton took over and went 2-for-10 passing for 45 yards and an interception.
Fitzgerald has now caught a touchdown in three of his last four games. On the season, he has 36 receptions for 430 yards and three scores.
Fantasy Impact: Skelton's poor performance Sunday proves why Kolb had taken over as the unquestioned starter. Kolb and Fitzgerald had seemed to develop a solid rapport, too, after criticism during the 2011 season that the quarterback wasn't targeting the superstar wideout enough.
Skelton targeted Fitzgerald early and often last season, so Fitzgerald shouldn't suffer too much if there is a change under center. Hopefully for owners, Skelton's bad game Sunday was merely an aberration.
