Trent Richardson has a rib cartilage injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Head coach Pat Shurmur said on Monday that Trent Richardson has a right rib cartilage injury. He is listed as day-to-day right now.
No word has been given on his status for Sunday's matchup with the Colts, but it's a promising sign that his MRI results didn't reveal any serious injury.
Fantasy Impact: Richardson's owners will want to check on his status periodically throughout the week to see what the Browns have in store for the rookie in Week 7. He may miss some practice time early on, but early indications make it seem like he will be fine going forward.
The Colts run defense can't stop anyone at this point, so you'll want to have Richardson in your lineup if he's ready to go. Montario Hardesty would be in line for an extended workload if Richardson suffers any setbacks.
