The computer was a disaster with its Week 6 NFL picks. It promises better results in Week 7 and sees a continuation of the underdog winners from last weekend.
Sports betting can be as fun and profitable as it is frustrating and humbling and we certainly learned that lesson again in Week 6.
Armed with the first week of our custom NFL computer picks, we embarrassed ourselves with a 2-12 ATS mark in 14 games. The computer picked eight totals correctly and Mike Pickett was 7-7 ATS in a crazy week where underdogs chomped the favorites.
But we dust ourselves off, make no excuses and come back with Week 7 predictions. Where eight underdogs won outright last weekend, the computer picks only one in Week 7 (the Browns at Indianapolis).

However, the machine has the following underdogs covering the spread: Seattle, Baltimore, Carolina, Tampa, St Louis, Arizona, Jacksonville, Jets.
In more than half of the week's 13 games, Pickett and the computer are in agreement on who will cover the spread.
