The Baltimore Ravens head to Houston as underdogs for Sunday's game against the Texans.
The Baltimore Ravens (5-1) travel to Houston this Sunday to take on the Texans (5-1) in a battle between two teams expecting to be fighting for the top spot in the AFC in the postseason.
The Texans are currently 6½ point favorites over the visiting Ravens, after the line opened with Houston favored by just four. The change is likely due to the weakening of a legendary Baltimore defense, which suffered the loss of Ray Lewis (torn right triceps) and Ladarius Webb (torn left ACL) for the season this week.
The Ravens are coming off a narrow 31-29 victory over the Dallas Cowboys last week, when Baltimore survived a late comeback attempt by the visiting team. The Ravens have won three games this season by three points or less and will likely need that close game mentality against the powerful Texans.
Houston, after five relatively easy wins to begin the season, suffered a blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers at home, allowing 42 points and 427 total yards in the game.
The total for the game currently sits at 48½ points.
