The New England Patriots and New York Jets will meet in Week 7 for an all-important AFC East showdown in Gillette Stadium.
New England has had a surprisingly inconsistent start to the 2012 season. Despite Tom Brady playing terrific football once again, the Patriots haven't been able to get much traction. The team is yet to get more than one game over .500 at any point, and now faces a Jets squad with an identical 3-3 record.
Rex Ryan's group has been buried more than once by the national press, only to rise form the ashes. Despite losing corner Darrelle Revis and wide receiver Santonio Holmes to season-ending injuries, New York has been able to stay afloat.
Last week, Shonn Greene had a career day with 161 rushing yards and three touchdowns en route to a 35-9 hammering of the Indianapolis Colts.
All that said, the oddsmakers have given New England a massive edge at home with the Patriots laying 12 points to Gang Green.
