The Cowboys try to avoid their third straight loss when they visit Carolina to take on the Panthers.
In danger of falling to 2-4, the Dallas Cowboys will try to avoid their third straight loss of the year when they visit quarterback Cam Newton and the dangerous Carolina Panthers in a Sunday afternoon showdown.
Despite throwing for 1,409 yards and seven touchdowns on the year thus far, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has also thrown nine interceptions — six in the last two weeks — to dampen the fast start to Dallas's season.
The Panthers will look to end a three-game losing streak of their own when they welcome the Cowboys to town, and will need to contain Romo and the Cowboys' top-ranked passing offense. The Panthers' passing defense is ranked 19th in the league entering the contest.
Coming off of a bye week, the Cowboys will attempt to not look past their meeting with the Panthers as Dallas will see the New York Giants for a second time on the year next weekend.
