During the preseason, the Rams and Packers certainly weren't expected to have the same record when they met in Week 7, but both teams now sit at 3-3 after six weeks.
For the Packers, though, the season seemingly took a turn for the better with a 42-24 victory over the previously undefeated Houston Texans in which Aaron Rodgers threw for 338 yards passing with six touchdowns. It was the best offensive performance of the season for the Packers and resembled the 2011 team that finished 15-1.
Week 6 wasn't as successful for the Rams, who lost 17-14, to the Miami Dolphins following back-to-back wins over NFC West opponents. Despite gaining 270 more yards of total offense than the Dolphins, the Rams weren't able to take advantage of the opportunities they had and fell back to .500.
To pick up a win and improve to 4-3, the Rams will need to continue to have success rushing the passer. With 18 sacks, the Rams are the No. 5 team in the league at bringing down the opposing quarterback while 23 sacks allowed makes the Packers the second-worst at protecting their signal caller.
The Packers are 5.5 favorites against the Rams, despite being the road team.
