Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

Maurice Jones-Drew was carted off with a foot injury and his return is questionable.

Maurice Jones-Drew injured his ankle in the first quarter of Sundays' game. He was carted off to the locker room and is questionable to return. Rashad Jennings will resume a feature role for the Jaguars.

Jones-Drew's day could very well be over with just two carries for six yards. He entered today's game with 84 carries for 408 yards and just one rushing touchdown.

The UCLA product's durability has made him one of the more durable backs in the league as he led the NFL in rushing as well as rushing attempts last season. He ranks ninth this season with 81.6 rushing yards per game on the season and also added 14 receptions including one for a TD.

The Jaguars are very thin at running back and will turn to Rashad Jennings to handle the work on an interim basis. Jennings tore his ACL last season and has been off to a slow start with just 13 carries for 46 yards coming into today's game.
