Mark Sanchez and Shonn Greene botched a handoff, and, not wanting to risk a touchdown, Sanchez made a quick decision. It was hilarious.
Mark Sanchez is plenty decent at football, but, compared to your average starting NFL quarterback, he's been pretty awful this year. When a handoff attempt to Shonn Greene went awry deep in Jets territory, rather than making a football play—again, not a Sanchez specialty—the "Sanchise" decided to channel a different sport.
Sure, maybe this was the smart play. But we all know Sanchez's famous backup would have just found a way to score a touchdown on this play. Or at least cure cancer.
