The Washington Redskins re-signed Chris Cooley after a season-ending injury to starting tight end Fred Davis. The fan-favorite Cooley was released by the Redskins in August.

The Washington Redskins re-signed tight end Chris Cooley to replace Fred Davis, who suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on Sunday. Cooley, who was released prior to 2012, is the Redskins' all-time leader in receptions for tight ends.
