Detroit came into the season as one of the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl, but so far hasn't played up to expectations. After beating the St. Louis Rams on opening day, the Lions dropped three straight contests.
The Bears have looked strong all year and could be primed for a deep postseason run. Head coach Lovie Smith has to be pleased with the team's 4-1 record, and coming off the bye week, it should be well-rested.
The defense, once again led by Brian Urlacher, has been terrific, ranking first in rush defense and 13th against the pass. The offense also has been productive, scoring 41 points twice and hitting the 23-point mark in two other games.
