Experts are close to evenly split when forecasting the outcome between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets as they resume their rivalry on Sunday.
The New York Jets topped the Miami Dolphins 23-20 in a Week 3 overtime battle and the two sides meet up again on Sunday in the latest chapter of this intense rivalry. If the experts picks are any indication, Sunday's matchup should be another close battle.
At ESPN, five of nine experts who had made picks at the time of this post (Eric Allen, Merril Hoge, and Ron Jaworski had not made picks) selected the Jets, while four sided with the Dolphins. At CBS, it was an even split with four experts picking the Jets and the other four picking Miami to even the season series. Things were a little more one-sided at Yahoo!, where all three experts selected the Dolphins to win.
Overall that makes 11 out of 20 experts who picked Miami, or 55%, and 9-of-20, 45%, that went with the Jets.
When the teams met in Week 3, only six out of 23 experts between the three aforementioned sites selected Miami. Now with Dolphins are coming off a bye week and back-to-back wins, they seem to have won over a few experts.
