Most experts predict that the Pittsburgh Steelers will come out victorious when they welcome the Washington Redskins to town in Week 8.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have not won back-to-back games this season, and have yet to lose at home. One of those things must change when they host the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
The Steelers are 3-3 coming off a win over the Bengals and are suffering from a multitude of injuries, but they get to play at Heinz Field this week, where they are 2-0 on the season. They will face the Washington Redskins, who suffered a heartbreaking 27-23 loss to the New York Giants last week despite another stellar performance from rookie Robert Griffin III. Most experts predict the Steelers will overcome their injuries and remain undefeated at home, beating the Redskins.
At ESPN, six of the nine experts who have made picks (Eric Allen, Merril Hoge, and Ron Jaworski have yet to select teams) sided with the Steelers. At Yahoo!, Jason Cole picked the Redskins, but both Mike Silver and Les Carpenter went with Pittsburgh. And all eight CBS experts picked the Steelers to win the game.
Overall that makes it 16 out of 20 experts, or 80%, who picked Pittsburgh over Washington.
