The San Diego Chargers head east as a slight favorite over the Cleveland Browns.
Both the Cleveland Browns and San Diego Chargers enter Sunday's matchup in desperate need of a victory. The Browns, at 1-6 on the season and with new owner Jimmy Haslam evaluating the performance of the current staff, are maybe more in need of a win than the Chargers, but Norv Turner's bunch is just 3-3 and coming off a loss to the Denver Broncos in which they squandered a 24-point lead.
San Diego will be favored on Sunday by a relatively meager 2.5 points, a line that owes itself in part to the Browns being 3-3-1 against the spread this year despite only having one victory. San Diego is also 3-3 against the spread this year, a number that is in line with their "actual" win total.
The over/under for Sunday's contest is 44, an average number that is more or less in concert with the team's combined point per game total on the season, which is a hair over 45.
The game kicks off at 1 p.m. on CBS.
