After missing last week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, injured New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is a game-time decision for Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos.
New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is a game-time decision against the Denver Broncos on Sunday. It's being reported that Graham was more active in practice Friday, but the tight end is still recovering from a right ankle injury that kept him out of last week's win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Even if Graham plays, he's expected to be less than 100 percent, but the Saints could still use him in a limited role. The extra attention he draws from safeties and linebackers opens up opportunities for New Orleans' other play-makers, Lance Moore and Marques Colston.
The Saints have won their last two games after starting the season at 0-4. Graham is a big part of the team having the No. 1 passing game in the league, though Colston and Moore lead the Saints in receiving yards. On the season, Graham has 25 receptions for 252 yards and tied for second on the the team with three touchdown catches.
