Robert Griffin III and Ben Roethlisberger square off on Sunday at Heinz Field when the Washington Redskins visit the Pittsburgh Steelers for a game both teams would love to have. The Redskins will try to rebound from a tough loss against the defending champion New York Giants to get out of the cellar in the NFC East, while the Steelers hope to keep pressure on the Ravens in the AFC North.
The Redskins enter Sunday's contest leading the league in rushing yards, thanks to a healthy balance between running back Alfred Morris and Griffin III. The two have combined for 1,126 yards on the year, which have been good for 11 touchdowns. Defensively, however, Washington has been unable to stop teams from attacking them through the air. The 328 passing yards they allow each game is worst in the NFL.
The Steelers, meanwhile, are going for their second straight win after beating the Cincinnati Bengals on the road a week ago.Their strength has been their many options on offense, with Roethlisberger able to confidently throw it to Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace or Heath Miller. As a team, the Steelers are sixth in the league in passing yards.
