How to watch the Week 8 game between the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers have had opposite starts to the 2012 NFL season. Chicago has started off 5-1, while the Panthers have limped to 1-5 early on.
Jay Cutler has helped the Bears put up big offensive numbers despite a weak offensive line in front of him. Though he was suffering from bruised ribs following their game against the Detroit Lions, he appears to be ready to play on Sunday. Chicago is coming off of four straight wins, scoring 111 points in those games. Having the league's best defense hasn't hurt their cause either.
Carolina's only win of the season came against the similarly limping New Orleans Saints, and the less effective Cam Newton has been unable to lead the offense as well as he did in 2011. The most points that the Panthers scored this season was 28, but that came in a loss against the Falcons. Other than the Falcons game and their win over the Saints, Carolina has not scored more than 14 in a game this year.
