Buccaneers defensive back Eric Wright might be facing a four-game suspension, similar to the one given to teammate Aqib Talib earlier this year, for Adderall use, according to Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com.
Talib has served three games of his suspension and will also miss Tampa Bay's game versus the Oakland Raiders Nov. 4.
Wright has 31 tackles, one interception and one touchdown in seven games for the Buccaneers this season. Wright, a six-year veteran, has 308 tackles and 14 interceptions in his career with the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay.
The Buccaneers are giving up 309.6 passing yards per game, which ranks 31st in the league. Tampa Bay is coming off a 36-17 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday to improve to 3-4 on the season.
