It's a party in New Jersey for the Dolphins so far, as Miami has jumped all over their divisional rival in the first quarter. There was plenty of talk about shark-jumping due to the propensity of NFL players defaulting to Gangnam Style celebrations in Week 7. But Miami rookie Olivier Vernon doesn't care if you think it's played, he's going to add to the compendium of NFL players mimicking Psy:
Not bad form for the former Hurricane. It was the rookie's first touchdown, taking a blocked punt back for an early double-digit Dolphin lead, and he just wanted to dance. He can claim he's first in the books for Week 8, but now we'll wait and see if RedZone once again just becomes one big loop of homages to the Korean rapper.
Thanks to Vernon and his dance moves, the Dolphins are up big on the Jets, leading 17-0 early in the second quarter.
