Brady Quinn injury: Head injury forced Chiefs to turn to Matt Cassel

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE

A head injury has forced Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn out of the game.

Kansas City Chiefs' starting quarterback Brady Quinn has left Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders due to an apparent head injury. Recent reports have the QB currently in the locker room under examination.

The Chiefs now turn to Matt Cassel to try his hand at leading the offense. Neither quarterback has had a great deal of success, as Cassel has thrown for 1,150 yards with five touchdowns and nine interceptions, while Quinn, in limited time, completed 60 percent of his passes, en route to 212 yards passing and two interceptions. Head coach Romeo Crennel has looked to spark his offense by changing QBs in recent weeks, however, neither Cassel nor Quinn has managed to make a difference to the fate of Kansas City's offense

The one-win Chiefs and two-win Raiders are fighting to determine who is the worst team in the AFC West. Either both teams will be tied at the bottom, or Cassel and the Chiefs will have the odious duty.
