Tony Romo still can't catch a break. Through one quarter against the New York Giants in Week 8, Romo has completed just three of seven passes for 32 yards and two interceptions. His first interception came at 9:23 in the first by Sheldon Brown, setting up a Giants field goal. The second one came on the very next drive as he was picked off by Corey Webster. The Giants would score a touchdown on the ensuing drive, giving them a quick 13-0 lead.
Romo's interception troubles continue to haunt him. He is now up to 11 picks on the season, with seven in his last five home games. He has only one game this year without an interception. Meanwhile, the Giants continue to dominate in Jerryworld - they are 3-0 in the new Cowboys Stadium.
Romo remains a talented QB with massive turnover issues. It's hard to say what he needs to fix, or whether he can be fixed. Regardless, get ready for another week of hilarity from Dallas sports radio.
