If the Giants end up missing the playoffs in 2012, they could be looking back to their own disaster on October 28th. New York built a 23-0 lead in the second quarter after a Jason Pierre-Paul interception was returned for a touchdown.
However over their first six drives after the first quarter, the Giants gained a total of 85 yards with four punts, a lost fumble and an interception. Meanwhile, the Cowboys scored 24 unanswered points and took a lead into the fourth quarter, until Lawrence Tynes gave New York back the lead with a field goal as 10:20 remained in the game.
As Hurricane Sandy marches into the Northeast, Giants fans have their eyes on the collapse happening in Dallas. If New York loses the game, it will give them the same amount of losses as the Cowboys, but 0-2 against their division foe. The last two quarters must have been harder for a Giants fan to watch than The Day After Tomorrow, and that's really hard to watch.
