Arizona running back LaRod Stephens-Howling is ready to face San Francisco on Monday.
Arizona Cardinals' running back LaRod Stephens-Howling is ready to face one of the best defenses in the NFL when Arizona hosts the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.
Stephens-Howling told SportsRadioInterviews.com: "I mean, I feel like we are more focused ... We just know it’s a division game and we know it’s an opportunity for us to get back on track."
Stephens-Howling started the season third on the team's depth chart at running back, but has been the starter after injuries to Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams ahead of him.
Stephens-Howling has rushed 43 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns so far this season and had his first 100-yard game last Sunday in a 21-14 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
The Cardinals are averaging 89.3 yards per game, which ranks 27th in the league. The San Francisco defense is only giving up 98.9 yards per game on the ground which ranks 10th in the NFL.
At 4-3, Arizona trails 5-2 San Francisco by one game in the NFC West division.
