Larry Fitzgerald went down with a head injury while attempting to make a catch, but returned to the game after receiving concussion tests on the sidelines.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald left Monday night's game against the San Francisco 49ers with a head injury after going head-first into the turf while attempting to make a catch. The Cardinals' medical staff was giving Fitzgerald balance tests in addition to the concussion questions. He also received some amonia snaps.
Fitzgerald returned to the game on the next series after the medical staff cleared him to play. With the amount of injuries the Cardinals already have on offense, they could not afford to lose Fitzgerald.
Early Doucet would figure to see extra snaps if Fitzgerald is limited or misses any time the rest of the game. Andre Roberts would also be counted on to fill a larger role in the passing offense in that scenario.
Check out the injury below.
