The 3-1 Minnesota Vikings will be favored by nearly a touchdown Sunday as they host a 1-3 Tennessee Titans team with starting quarterback Jake Locker injured.
With Christian Ponder at the helm and Adrian Peterson dominating as always, Minnesota has won back-to-back games against potential playoff teams in the San Francisco 49ers and Detroit Lions to move to 3-1 on the season. While the Titans haven't had the easiest schedule - they've faced New England, San Diego, and Houston - they've lost those games by a combined 73 points, leaving them 1-3 against the spread thus far on the season. The Titans have gotten trounced in both of their prior road appearances. Locker's backup, Matt Hasselbeck, didn't look bad in his playing time Sunday against the Texans, but tossed a pair of picks as his team lost, 38-14.
The Vikings opened as 5.5-point favorites, and that has moved to six points in some books. The over/under opened at 45 points - the Titans have allowed at least 34 points in all four of their games, hitting the over three times.
