The Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers both look to keep pace in their respective divisions in Sunday's matchup.
The San Francisco 49ers (3-1) are looking to keep pace in the NFC West as they face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The 49ers are coming off a 34-0 victory over the New York Jets last Sunday.
In that game, quarterback Alex Smith completed 12-of-21 passes for 143 yards. Running backs Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter each scored a touchdown while backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick added a touchdown in the second quarter.
The Buffalo Bills (2-2) are in a three-way tie for first place in the AFC East, despite being blown out last week by the New England Patriots, 52-28. In that game, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 22-of-39 passes for 350 yards and four touchdowns, but also threw four interceptions. Tight end Scott Chandler caught two of those passes for touchdowns. The running game was non-existent, with the leading rusher being C.J. Spiller who carried the ball 8 times for 33 yards.
