Ron Chenoy-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will meet for the 13th time on Sunday when the Broncos head to New England to face the Patriots.
The Broncos and Patriots met in the playoffs last year when New England ended Denver's season with a 45-10 victory. The Patriots went on to play in the Super Bowl, while the Broncos went out and acquired Peyton Manning.
The 2-2 Patriots are coming off an impressive victory in Buffalo that saw them move the ball almost at will. The Pats had two 100-yard rushers against the Bills (Stevan Ridley, Brandon Bolden) and two 100-yard receivers (Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker) -- only the second time in NFL history that a team has had a pair of each in the same game. New England converted six consecutive second half drives into touchdowns during the Week 4 win.
The Broncos also enter Sunday's game at 2-2, and like the Patriots, they had an impressive win last weekend. Manning completed 30 of his 38 passes against the Raiders, compiling 338 yards and throwing for three touchdowns. He'll be facing a New England defense that has been allowing 282 yards per game in the air this season.
OddsShark has the Patriots favored by 6.5 points, and the over/under has been set at 51.5.
Game Time: The game will start at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 7
Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro, Mass.
