The New York Giants trailed early, but benefited from a pair of turnovers in short succession as they handed the Cleveland Browns their fifth loss of the season in as many tries. Ahmad Bradshaw had 200 yards rushing, a career high.

The New York Giants didn't come out strong, with the Cleveland Browns taking a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, but they stormed back to keep Cleveland out of the win column with a 41-27 victory.

Ahmad Bradshaw might have seemed irrelevant when backup Andre Brown put up 113 yards against Carolina two weeks ago, but Bradshaw ran all over the Browns, as Ed Valentine of Giants blog Big Blue View noted after the game.

Who knew that Ahmad Bradshaw's fumble on his very first carry of the day would be the beginning of the best individual day of his career? Bradshaw ended up carrying 30 times for 200 yards, both career highs, as the New York Giants defeated the Cleveland Browns, 41-27, Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

For Valentine, the key sequence of the game came when New York forced a pair of turnovers as part of a 20-point second quarter. He elaborated on the stretch in his game recap:

At that point this looked like one of those stunning, befuddling days when the defending Super Bowl Giants played down to the level of their competition.

The Giants' offense, with lots of help from Stevie Brown (interception, fumble recovery) was having none of it, though.

At 3-2, the Giants are somehow on top of the NFC East despite a pair of losses to division opponents. They face the San Francisco Giants at home in a rematch of the NFC Championship game.
