The Washington Redskins are narrow favorites in their Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers as the struggling Carolina defense must contend with RGIII.

The 1-6 Carolina Panthers visit the 3-5 Washington Redskins on Sunday, and the latest odds for the Week 9 matchup have Robert Griffin III and the Redskins as narrow favorites, favored by 3.5 points.

The total for the game is 47, a mark Carolina has hit only twice in its seven games. Washington has combined for more than 47 in all but three of its eight games. The Panthers offense is averaging 18.3 points per game, and Washington is putting an average of 26.6 points on the board.
