Detroit is the road favorite against one of the NFL's bottom dwellers.
The Detroit Lions have had every game decided by one possession this season, and this week's game against Jacksonville is expected to head to a similar result. The Lions are favored by 3.5 points over the Jaguars on Sunday, according to OddsShark.
Jacksonville has been the safer pick this season, as they have covered the spread in four of seven games, while the Lions have done so just twice this season.
The two teams don't have a very long history. They have played each other just four times, with the last being a 38-14 Jaguars win in 2008. Detroit has not beaten Jacksonville since 1995.
This will likely be the best chance for the Lions to end that skid. Jacksonville has won just one game this season and is averaging14.7 points per game.
