Julio Jones is back in the game
Atlanta Falcons receiver Julio Jones left Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints early on with an ankle injury. With the receiver back in the game, the Falcons are hoping to spur a late comeback.
Without Jones, the Falcons offense has looked anemic. Down by eleven points with just over eight minutes remaining in the third quarter, Atlanta's defense is the biggest reason why the Saints are threatening the Falcons' perfect record. He may only have two receptions for 14 yards, but the big play threat he brings to the Falcons offense allows Matt Ryan to have biggest windows to throw to the rest of his weapons.
Roddy White has been the biggest benefactor today, now with 107 receiving yards on six receptions. Harry Douglas, who replaced Jones, was unable to make any impact in his absence. Today's game represents the biggest threat the Falcons have faced this season. Since Atlanta is unable to stop Drew Brees, Jones' return might not be enough
