Giants vs. Bengals game recap: Andy Dalton throws four touchdowns in 31-13 rout of New York

The Cincinnati Bengals jumped out to an early lead and never gave it back as they beat the New York Giants, 31-13, at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.

It was a game of two very different quarterback performances as Cincinnati's Andy Dalton threw four touchdowns while New York's Eli Manning was intercepted twice and lost a fumble.

Dalton opened the game with two touchdown passes in the first five minutes, one to A.J. Green for 56 yards and another to Andrew Hawkins for 11 yards.

The Bengals took a 17-6 lead to halftime after the teams traded field goals in the second quarter. Dalton added two more touchdowns, to Jermaine Grisham and Mohamed Sanu, in the third quarter as the Bengals pulled away.

Andre Brown scored the Giants first touchdown of the game, cutting the Bengals' lead to 31-13, on a 2-yard run with 2:50 left in the game. Lawrence Tynes scored New York's first six points of the game with field goals of 23 and 31 yards.

Winners: Dalton and the Benglas snapped a four-game losing streak and moved to 4-5 on the season with the convincing victory. Dalton finished the game 21 for 30 passing for 199 yards and the four touchdowns.

Losers: Manning finished the game with a solid 215 yards on 29 completions, but he was picked off twice and fumbled once while he did not throw a single touchdown. The defending Super Bowl champs fall to 6-4 on the season after their second straight loss.

Stat of the game: After a strong first-half performance, the Bengals wrapped up their fourth win of the season with an equally strong second half. All four of the Bengals wins have now come when leading at halftime.

Fantasy studs/duds: Andy Dalton's fantasy owners will certainly be happy with his Week 10 performance as he racked up points with 199 yards and four touchdowns. He spread the scoring out to four different receivers, so while none of them exploded, anyone owning a member of the Bengals' receiving corps is probably pretty happy. Manning did pick up 215 passing yards for his fantasy owner, but his two interception, no touchdown performance will certainly not be much of a help to any fantasy roster. Injury info: The Giants' Markus Kuhn went to the locker room for x-rays on his knee in the fourth quarter. His injury status was unknown when the game ended.

Next team on the schedule: The Bengals will go on the road next weekend to face the Kansas City Chiefs at 1 p.m. ET. While the Giants will have a bye during Week 11.
