Michael Vick is out with a concussion.

Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Michael Vick has been diagnosed with a concussion by team doctors, and will not return to Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Eagles made the announcement moments ago, as early reports out of Philadelphia stated that Vick was suffering some vision loss as a result of being driven into the ground on a fairly routine rushing play. The hit didn't look particularly severe, but with head injuries they don't always need to be.

Backup quarterback Nick Foles entered the game to a chorus of cheers. Fans have been hoping for some change at the position, and been calling for the third round rookie to take over for the struggling Vick. Throwing four passes so far, Foles has completed two for 15 yards. He had one early scare where a route was jumped, and could have easily resulted in an interception, however the defensive back couldn't hold onto the ball.
