Jonathan Baldwin injury: Chiefs WR hurts neck on long pass

John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE

The Kansas City Chiefs lost wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin to injury during their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.

During the fourth quarter of the Monday Night Football match between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs, the Chiefs suffered a setback when wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin went down with what appeared to be a neck injury.

Baldwin was hit while attempting to a catch a long pass in the final quarter, and was shaken up as left the field. The extent of the injury was not released as he left play, but it looked like he might have a concussion or a bad neck injury. He did not return to the game.

Baldwin had recorded only a single reception for 11 yards during the game against the Steelers prior to going down. He has picked up 213 yards on 15 receptions through the 2012 season, but has failed to score a touchdown so far.

Kansas City has sent the MNF game to overtime with a late Ryan Succop field goal.
