Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon returned to practice on Wednesday and could be in the lineup on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, and coach Mike Shanahan said it is possible that he could return to the lineup against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday if Garcon does not suffer any setbacks.
Garcon returned to practice for the first time in over a month on Monday and was on the practice field again on Wednesday. After practice Garcon said things were "going good," but he did not speculate on his status against the Eagles.
Garcon injured his foot in the Redskins' season opening win over the New Orleans Saints and has only played in three games this season. He has not seen the field since Washington's Week 5 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and has since been diagnosed with a torn ligament in the second toe on his right foot.
Garcon has eight receptions for 153 yards and one touchdown in his limited action this season.
