San Francisco opened as slight favorites at home in this week's key Monday Night Football battle.
Week 11's biggest matchup pits the Chicago Bears against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. Both teams are viewed as possible Super Bowl participants, although they're coming off tough weeks that saw the Bears lose and the 49ers tie.
According to Oddsshark, San Francisco opened as 4½-point favorites. Other lines have the 49ers favored in the 5- to 7-point range.
There is a lot unknown about both teams right now. Staring quarterbacks Alex Smith and Jay Cutler both suffered concussions in Week 10, and most reports indicate they will not play on Monday night. That obviously changes the offensive gameplan for both coaching staffs. The 49ers would likely go with Colin Kaepernick as their starter, while the Bears would use Jason Campbell.
As injury updates on Smith and Cutler are made available throughout the week, the betting lines are likely to change.
