NFL picks and predictions Week 11: Eagles vs. Redskins

Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE

The Redskins might be favored by only a slim margin, but the talking heads are pretty much all in agreement that they will beat the Eagles on Sunday.

There's no denying that things aren't going well for the Washington Redskins right now -- they've lost three straight and four out of their last five. But as bad as it might be in D.C., it's even worse in Philadelphia. The Eagles have lost five straight, six out of seven, and might be without their starting quarterback.

When these two teams meet on Sunday, the experts seem to agree that the Redskins will be the ones to get off the schneid with a win over the woeful Eagles.

At CBS Sports, six out of eight analysts are going with Washington. Jason La Canfora and Ryan Wilson are the only two who disagree.

Yahoo! seems to be thinking along the same lines. Mike Silver, Jason Cole and Les Carpenter all like Washington at home.

But even though the vast majority of those experts like the Redskins, Washington is only favored by 1½ points. Perhaps the reason many like Washington is because of the uncertainty surrounding Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, who was hurt last week and is listed as doubtful for this weekend. That means the quarterback duties would fall on the much-less-experienced Nick Foles.

Meanwhile, rookie phenom Robert Griffin III leads the way for the Redskins.
