Julio Jones hopes to play against Arizona on Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is adamant that he wants to play against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and will test out his ankle before the game, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

If Jones plays, he is expected to be limited. Jones did not practice at all with the team this week and is officially listed as questionable for the game. Falcons head coach Mike Smith said that Jones will be a game-time decision.

Jones is second on the team with 44 receptions for 703 yards and five touchdowns this season. The Falcons' passing attack is averaging 292.6 yards per game, which ranks fourth in the league this season.

The Falcons had their eight-game winning streak snapped last Sunday when they lost their first game of the season to the New Orleans Saints, 31-27. Jones had four receptions for 75 yards in the loss.

Atlanta will play an Arizona team that has lost five games in a row on Sunday.
