Jason Bridge-US PRESSWIRE
The 2012 Kansas City Chiefs are a masterpiece of performance art.
The Kansas City Chiefs are 1-9. They mustered up only six points and yielded 28 to the mighty Cincinnati Bengals. They can't decide whether Matt Cassel or Brady Quinn is the answer at quarterback (while American hero Ricky Stanzi rots on the bench). Tony Moeaki was their leading receiver. Things are looking pretty bad. But hey, at least they only got one turnover today. Baby steps.
However, don't take it from me. Let's turn to head coach Romeo Crennel to find out just what went wrong this week. Take it away, Coach:
"We didn't do what we were supposed to do all the time...that's why we lost the game."
Thanks, Coach! That's the kind of ground-breaking insights we've come to expect from a proud member of the Belichick Coaching Tree.
Tune in next week, when Crennel finds Jamaal Charles bound and gagged in the equipment room, with a note left saying only "Madden '12. Never Forget."
