The Atlanta Falcons saw two key players in Julio Jones and Asante Samuel go down against the Arizona Cardinals.
The Atlanta Falcons were hit the hardest by injuries in Week 11, as wide receiver Julio Jones and cornerback Asante Samuel both left the team's 23-19 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Jones, who entered the game fighting a right ankle injury, aggravated that same injury in the third quarter and did not return. He is questionable for Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Samuel injured his right shoulder in the first quarter while trying to put a hard hit on Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Samuel also did not return and is questionable for next weekend's game.
In the game between Tampa Bay and Carolina, Bucs cornerback Eric Wright left the team's 27-21 win with a left ankle injury. The Panthers saw defensive ends Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson leave the game momentarily after colliding trying to get a sack, but both players returned. Wide receiver Steve Smith briefly left the game with an arm injury, but he also returned.
For the New Orleans Saints, cornerback Elbert Mack left the team's 38-17 win over the Oakland Raiders with a knee injury. Offensive lineman Charles Brown also left the game with a knee injury. Both players are questionable for Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.
